This Saturday, September 14th, I will be the featured performer for the North Texas Performing arts “Celebration Station”. It will take place at the Shops of Willow Bend, on stage in the Grand Court. I will start my show at 12:30pm, and I really do hope those of you in the area who have never seen my show will come out for some fun, and to support a great cause. All of my shows are usually for private events, so this is a rare chance to catch me in action!
This fun-filled, free family event, will showcase fifty North Texas non-profits who are participating in North Texas Giving Day which is powered and made possible by Communities Foundation of Texas. This family fun event will be held from 10 am to 5 pm. Registration begins at 10:00 am in Grand Court (between Neiman Marcus and The Food Court) and the first 500 families will receive a special goody bag!
There will be a Main Stage in Grand Court with a variety of activities throughout the day including a performance by North Texas Performing Arts at 11:30 a.m., Proclamation by Plano City Council Members Mayor Pro Tem Rick Smith, Rick Grady, and Lilly Bao. There will also be contests, make it, take it art activities, face painting, balloon artist, games and prizes, and plenty of opportunities to learn about North Texas non-profits. Stop by and have some fun and help make a difference in our community!
